The Lab Strengthens Team With Seven New Hires

Insights and strategy agency, The Lab, continues its growth momentum in Sydney by recruiting seven new hires across Behavioural Science, Cultural & Qualitative Insights and Strategy.

The new hires follow a period of growth for The Lab across its Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney offices. The Lab’s co-founder and CEO Neale Cotton said: “These new hires build on the great work that The Lab Sydney team have already been doing. Our newest team members add a fantastic mix of Behavioural Science and brand strategy expertise and continue to add to the cultural nous of the team.”

Jonny Hanratty joins The Lab as group strategy director after several years at The Behavioural Architects. Hanratty’s appointment continues to strengthen The Lab’s position as a leader in behavioural science with his background in strategic behaviour change and strategy.

Andie Lowings returns to The Lab, also in the role of group strategy director. Her 15 years of experience across qualitative research and cultural insights have seen her engage with key clients from the telecommunications, FMCG, airlines and banking industries.

Emma Lewis joins as a senior strategy consultant, with 20 years of experience as a strategic qualitative researcher, including seven years at Kantar. Lewis brings her speciality in creative and product development to her role.

She is joined by Carnelian Easton, who comes to The Lab as a senior strategy consultant after a tenure at Wunderman Thompson. Carnelian brings with her experience in creative communications strategy, copywriting and brand planning.

Alex Marsh and Mikela Dixon also join The Lab Sydney as strategy consultants. With backgrounds in qualitative research and strategic planning, Marsh joins from Kantar while Dixon joins from Fiftyfive5.

Finally, Jane Allan-Lane also joins from Fiftyfive5 in an operations role.
