Key Features

  • Unique matching algorithm so clients get the most suitable applicants for their roles
  • Self tape or video casting – developed for COVID safe casting and remote working
  • Push notifications – talent will get an immediate notification about a job, which they can then respond to in real time to avoid missing out on a job
  • Improved user experience
  • Brands will see an increase in applicants for jobs

Former head of product at Canva and Atlassian, James Dumay, joined the team to work closely with founder & CEO Taryn Williams (main photo) to create the new feature.

Taryn Williams, said, “With a shift in how people work and their reliance on mobile as a first point of communication, we decided to invest in building our first app for theright.fit. Apps used to be very complex and expensive to build but thanks to the advancements in technology and having a great team on board, led by James Dumay, we were able to create the app in just four months.”

“With the app talent and brands can connect in real time enabling faster responses and an increase in applicants for jobs posted by brands. This in turn streamlines the creative talent booking experience.”

theright.fit first launched in 2016 as a marketplace connecting brands to creative talent and influencers in 2016, with the aim of utilising technology to drive greater connectivity and fair outcomes for models and influencers across media, marketing and advertising. The business experienced a record year in 2021, up 45% YoY, with a historical high in December in the number of jobs posted, booked and talent approved to the marketplace.
