Live crosses are always fraught with danger for the news reporters and, as a result, are often rich fodder for us here at B&T.
And yesterday’s story on ABC News about the final voyage of Sydney’s MV Queenscliff ferry certainly didn’t disappoint.
Sydney-based ABC journalist Cecilia Connell attempted to describe the significance of the ferry, which has provided Sydneysiders with 38 years of service.
Unfortunately for Connell, the MV Queenscliff’s horn would start blaring just about every time she would start speaking.
Even surrounding boats would blare their horns as it went past.
You can see it below.

Connell was widely applauded on social media for her composure during the cross and one pundit even described it as a “ferry good live cross”.
I guess you could say it made for a ferry good live cross!
