Last Friday 8th March, International Women’s Day, B&T partnered with Adobe to host ‘An Ode to Mentors’ lunch, celebrating Australia’s leading female marketers and women who have achieved noteworthy success in their respective careers.
The lunch was held in order to recognise the accomplishments of these women, as well as the opportunity for them to say thank you to their mentors – those who supported them throughout their career and helped them achieve their career goals.
Mentors who attended were both men and women – yet the majority of mentors were women (very fitting on IWD!)
During the day, we spoke to a few of the attendees and asked them to share their thoughts on all things IWD, things they’ve learned from their mentors, their most inspirational female figure and more.
Below, we spoke to Rebecca Shears from OFX and Nicole Milward from JOY Agency.
