Brisbane-based burger chain Burger Urge has launched its latest digital campaign to attract new franchisees as part of its plan to expand across Australia in 2017.

The campaign, titled ‘Want to murder your boss?’, targets those who are unsatisfied in their current job and want to take on the challenge of being their own boss.

With 19 stores across Queensland and New South Wales, and seven more due to open in the coming months, Burger Urge is on the lookout for passionate entrepreneurs to further grow the business.

Burger Urge co-owner and director Sean Carthew said the campaign was a way to break through the franchise marketing drudgery with a message that rings true with so many people.

“Every other person you speak to wants to kill their boss at one time or another, so our latest

franchisee campaign is having a little fun with it, just saying what many people are already thinking,” he said.

“Burger Urge are looking for entrepreneurs from all walks of life who want to be their own boss and are ready to take on the challenge of running their own business.”

The burger chain has 19 stores across Queensland and NSW, and seven more due to open in the coming months.
