Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, and Fetch TV have announced that the Vevo app is now live on the Fetch service.
For the first time, Fetch customers are able to enjoy high-quality music videos from the Vevo catalogue, including official releases, live performances and original content, on-demand.
The demand for access to quality music videos corresponds with the consumer shift to streaming entertainment on connected TVs (CTV). Vevo’s growing TV audience creates more meaningful opportunities for advertisers to get in front of consumers, especially cord-cutters and younger demographics, who are increasingly difficult to reach via traditional broadcast television.
Steve Sos, managing director, Australia & New Zealand, Vevo, said: “Vevo is dedicated to delivering our exclusive content set to Australian fans, and we are excited to further build on our CTV momentum with our newest partner, Fetch, a major platform that marries a cutting-edge user experience with premium content.
“With Fetch, Vevo is further expanding its Australian footprint, while ensuring a first-rate viewing experience on TV, the music video’s original and most impactful screen.”
Sam Hall, chief content and commercial officer at Fetch TV, said: “We are thrilled to add Vevo to Fetch TV. Vevo delivers access to an extensive range of global music videos, original productions and lives music performances that will engage our viewers and expand our music offering on the Fetch platform,”
Vevo is available on Fetch Mini, Mini 4K and Mighty boxes. Later this year, the app will also be accessible by Universal Voice Search, a new feature that enables users to search the entire Fetch content offering using one simple, spoken search.
