Thursday TV Wrap: The Bachelorette Enjoys Teensy Rise, But It’s Seven Taking Home The Evening’s Rose

10’s The Bachelorette showed signs of life last night, posting 314,000 OzTAM metro viewers. A rise of 61,000 on the previous evening, but still worrying enough to be giving 10 execs a few grey hairs.

In better news for 10, Gogglebox was the most watched entertainment show of Thursday, posting 505,000.

Seven won the night by a whisker, grabbing 27.9 per cent of all eyeballs to Nine’s 27.6 per cent. 10 nabbed third spot with 19.9 per cent, the ABC had 14.8 per cent and SBS managed 9.8 per cent.

Seven’s news was the most watched show of the night, posting 953,000. Nine’s news did 876,000 and ACA followed with 619,000.

Other highlights for Seven included Home and Away (544,000) and The Chase (298,000).

Over at Nine, RBT had 435,000, Hot Seat did 426,000 and a Paramedics repeat posted 343,000.

For 10, The Project had 369,000 and 10 News First did 284,000.

The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (632,000), 7.30 (456,000), Foreign Correspondent (342,000) and Sammy J (317,000).
