It seems hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg is everywhere at the moment. The rapper has just appeared in a series of ads here in Australia promoting Menulog, while he also recently featured alongside TikTok star Doggface208 in a spot for smart home provider Vivint.
Over the weekend, Snoop Dogg again proved his talents go beyond music.
Snoop was part of the commentary team for the highly-anticipated exhibition fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr, which ended in a draw.
He was also in the commentary box for the undercard fight between YouTuber Jake Paul and former NBA star Nate Robinson.
And while many have labelled the fight between Tyson and Jones Jr – with both the former boxing stars now in their 50s – a disappointment, the commentary efforts of Snoop have been widely applauded, if only for the utter outrageousness of some of the comments.
“This s**t like two of my uncles fighting at the BBQ,” he joked.
“Meet me in the back, I’m tired of this s**t, come on! Get up in there, Roy! S**t, in and out!”

But the highlight came during the undercard, when Snoop talked the viewers through the savage knockout which left Nate Robinson unconscious.
Snoop began singing what appeared to be a hymn when Robinson was initially floored.
This was followed by “Good night, Irene,” as Robinson hit the canvas.
