The Internet Has Gone Crazy For Apple’s $25 Cloth

A little over a month after releasing the new iPhone 13, Apple fans were in for a treat earlier this week with the tech giant October Unleashed event.

The launch event saw a new MacBook Pro, AirPods 3 and HomePod Mini. Despite the high-tech new devices, there was one item that stole the show.

Apple users will soon be able to polish their screens with a $US19 ($25) cloth, if they so please.

The cloth is designed to clean any Apple screen.

“Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture glass, safely and effectively,” Apple says about the new product on its website.

According to Macrumors, Apple usually warns users to be cautious when cleaning nano-texture glass option on the Pro Display XDR and 27-inch iMac.

The cloth will be able to clean these special screens, as well as all MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and so on.

But if social media is anything to go by, this versatility still does not justify the hefty pricetag.

While they might not have the Apple branding or quality, there is a 36-pack of (similar) microfiber cleaning cloths available on Amazon for $U18.

We’re by no means maths experts here at B&T, but we’ve calculated that one of these Amazon cloths is about one thirty-sixth of the price of Apple’s cloth.
