Ten Exec Siobhan McKenna Departs For Broadcast Role At News Corp

News Corp Australia has announced the appointment of Siobhan McKenna as its new group director of broadcasting.

McKenna joins News Corp from Ten, where she worked as a non-executive director since 2012 before her resignation was announced today by the TV network.

In an email to colleagues, News Corp Australasia executive chairman Michael Miller said:

“I have asked Siobhan to provide strategic oversight of our broadcast assets, work closely with Peter Tonagh, Patrick Delany and Angelos Frangopoulos on their major initiatives, and to work with me to further develop the News Corp Australia portfolio.

“Siobhan has joined the boards of Fox Sports, Foxtel and Sky News as a director. She has deep experience across multiple media categories, and is a sought-after business leader and company director across varied industries.

“Her deep knowledge of our industry, its challenges and opportunities make her a great asset to our company.”
