Tealium Poaches Marketo’s Nic Dennis To Lead APAC Operations

Customer data player Tealium has announced the appointment of Nic Dennis as vice president and general manager across the Asia Pacific.

Dennis joins Tealium from Marketo, where he was VP of sales in Australia and New Zealand.

Bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience to the role, Dennis will oversee growth across the APAC region, working closely with Tealium’s strategic partners and helping drive customer success.

Based in Sydney, Dennis will also be responsible for increasing Tealium’s growth in the wider APAC region including Australia, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Tealium CEO Jeff Lunsford said: “We are pleased to welcome Nic to the company. He brings a vast amount of relevant industry experience and expertise to the company and will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence across APAC.

“The next year will see more demand for our customer data platform, AudienceStream, as clients continue to contend with increasing amounts of data, and Nic is ideally placed to lead the charge for responsible data collection and management.”

Commenting on his appointment, Dennis said: “This is an exciting time for the industry, with more scrutiny than ever before on consumer privacy and data collection.

“As a leader in the space and an advocate for data governance, I’m looking forward to joining the Tealium team, working across APAC to drive the business forward and ensure our clients can provide the most engaging, relevant, and seamless experiences to their customers across channels.”
