Sunday TV Wrap: Seven Back On Top As The Voice Blind Auditions Continue To Turn Chairs

As The Voice’s blind auditions continue, so too has the show’s rating success.

On Sunday night, it scored 1,177,000 viewers, who watched on as a girl group took to the stage, in a first for the show.

The top rated telly overall was Seven News with 1,282,000 viewers, while Nine News had 1,163,000.

The Block also began to pick up the pace for Nine, with 779,000 viewers as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Network 10’s Australian Survivor came third in the entertainment ratings with a respectable 691,000 viewers, while ABC News Sunday just pipped it’s numbers at 692,000.

ABC drama The Newsreader cotinued to perform well with 508,000 viewers, as did it’s doco series Joanna Lumley’s Britain. ABC also had Insiders with 318,000 viewers, Landline with 307,000, and the Coronavirus: Public Update with 293,000.

On Seven, Homicide: With Rob Iddles nabbed a cheery 602,000 viewers while the AFL had 461,000 and Weekend Sunrise had 291,000.

For Nine, 60 Minutes had 521,000 viewers while Nine News Late Edition had 334,000 and Weekend Today had 293,000.

Finally, on 10, The Sunday Project had 334,000 viewers while 10 News First Sunday had 308,000.

The Seven Network won the night with 32.1 per cent of the daily share, reclaiming the throne after an upset by Nine late last week.

The aforementioned Nine Network came second with 27.3 per cent of the share, followed by Network 10 with 18.6 per cent and the ABC TV Network with 14.7 per cent.

The SBS Network had 7.4 per cent.
