Boland is a seasoned creative director with more than 20 years of experience. She has a wealth of experience, having worked with globally recognised brands in the finance, insurance, FMCG, automotive and retail sectors. She joins most recently from Ogilvy in Melbourne, and her work has been recognised at the highest level by Cannes Lions, LIAs, CLIO, Effies, and New York Festivals, to name a few. Lenna will lead the creative output of the Melbourne-based clients and joins group creative directors Tim Woolford and Tommy Cehak in Sydney.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Andy Fergusson, Julia Sheehan, and the team at Leo Burnett. Their enthusiasm for people, culture and clients, combined with their ambition and proven commitment to producing great work is infectious. It’s an energy and creative vision I’m super chuffed to now be a part of. I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves, have fun, and get stuck in with gusto,” Boland said.

As a creative duo, Foxcroft has previously been a senior art director, and Beswick a senior copywriter. They have joined the team with experience in various sectors, such as sports, FMCG, telecommunications, travel and tourism, government, pets and alcohol. Foxcroft and Beswick describe the work they enjoy doing the most as non-traditional and fun.

“We are thrilled that Lenna is joining the team in Melbourne. She is not only very experienced but has managed to create award-winning work across big clients in some of the toughest categories in her career. She will inject a new energy into the already formidable Melbourne team. We’re also excited to have Bes and Rowan join our creative team. They have proven to be hard-working, fun and intelligent thinkers and have a couple of productions under their belt since joining,” said Andy Fergusson, chief creative officer at Leo Burnett Australia.

The three new hires follow the recent appointment of CEO Clare Pickens and the promotions of Andy Fergusson to chief creative officer and Marijke Spain to creative director.
