Are Media has announced Selling Houses Australia co-host, interior designer and general manager of Foxtel Lifestyle, Wendy Moore, is joining The Australian Women’s Weekly as a home editor at large.

A former editor of Home Beautiful magazine for 11 years, Moore is highly experienced in predicting the latest trends driving changes in Australian interiors.

For seven seasons she was a judge on Channel Seven’s House Rules and was also general manager of homes and food at Pacific Magazine, overseeing brands including Better Homes and Gardens.

Each month Moore will write an exclusive column for The Weekly’s Good Life section, covering the latest home renovation, styling and make-over tips. In her first column in the February issue, Moore takes us inside her own home, sharing her recent kitchen renovation experience and offering expert tips for how readers can create their personal dream kitchen.

Moore is set to make her debut as the interior designer on the 14th season of Foxtel’s hit show, Selling Houses Australia, alongside presenter Andrew Winter and landscaper Dennis Scott, coming soon.

Nicole Byers, editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly, said: “Lockdowns and working from home has given us all a renewed focus on our living spaces and how to make them as functional and enticing as possible.

“A familiar face to many of our readers, I’m delighted Wendy is joining The Weekly team to share her deep understanding of the latest interior, decorating and home trends in our pages.”

Moore added: “Creating a beautiful home is one of the great joys in our lives, a home where our family makes memories, where our loved ones love to gather.

“If the last two years has taught us anything, it’s that our homes are more important than ever. I’m so excited to be joining The Weekly team and can’t wait to share inspiration and ideas with the readers, as well as give more insight into the incredible transformations we are able to do on Selling Houses Australia.”
