The major commercial rights agency for Aussie music festivals, Secret Sounds Connect, have announced a fresh talent alignment and brand content services for brands.

Secret Sounds has also shared the appointment of a number of new hires off the back of significant business growth as more brands recognise the power of the music sector.

Secret Sounds Connect co-founder and MD Kristy Rosser said, “Brands are increasingly looking to music to meet a number of marketing and business needs, particularly in the areas of customer loyalty and engagement. Music is a fantastic vehicle for brands to reward their customers with unique opportunities and to create engaging content for increasingly important digital channels.”

Secret Sounds Connect’s new key hires include:

Jade New, general manager

New previously worked as the GM for Future Entertainment (Future Music Festival, Summadayze) and prior to this was talent & artist relations manager at MTV. New now oversees the business operations of Secret Sounds Connect, with particular focus on Secret Sounds Connect’s newly established talent & content division.

Nicole Lembke, strategic partnerships manager

Lembke was previously the marketing manager at Sony Music. Lembke drives new business relationships for Secret Sounds Connect’s portfolio of award winning festival clients, including St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, The Falls Festival, Southbound Festival, Listen Out, Field Day and Harbourlife.

Zoe Murdoch, strategic partnerships manager, Splendour in the Grass

Murdoch was previously the music marketing manager at Nova Entertainment.  Murdoch is charged with leading brand integration with Australia’s premier music festival, Splendour In The Grass.

Peita Dixon, talent & content manager

Dixon was previously Head of Partner Services at Mixitup Australia. Dixon will be leading integration across Talent & Content campaigns.

Other appointments include Lucy Morris into partnerships coordinator and Charlotte Ibbotson into integration coordinator positions.

“We’re thrilled to have a number of new and highly experienced staff join our established team to further enhance our capabilities in a time of high-growth in music commercial rights. Recent new business wins reinforces that our ability to provide the right mix of access and expertise is highly valued among brands and rights holders,” Rosser said.

Secret Sounds Connect are also currently working with Telstra on a charity initiative in collaboration with Mumford & Sons for their upcoming Sydney show on the 14 November, offering a well deserved night out to the flood affected residents of the Dungog community.

Other new partnerships with Secret Sounds Connect’s summer festivals include Foxtel Movies + Falls Festival, Topshop + Laneway Festival and Pandora + Laneway Festival.
