Samsung likes to remind everyone in its adverts that it does some stuff better than Apple, and this latest ad is no exception.

Posted to the South Korean company’s US YouTube channel, the ad tells consumers to “Get off the fence” and come over to green, sunlight Samsung side, rather than the austere Apple side.

With one actor sitting on an actual fence, an iPhone user tells him that he “can’t sit on the fence.”

However, the first actor, whose interest has been piqued by Samsung’s “foldable phones and epic cameras,” isn’t to be swayed.

“You don’t want to leave. We’re waiting for all that to come over here,” says one of the iPhone users.

“Why? It’s already over there,” replies the fence sitter.

“Because that’s what we do, we wait,” replies the iPhone user.

Apple has yet to dip its toe into the foldable phones market, perhaps waiting for others (i.e. Samsung) to make mistakes on its first- and second-generation devices.

There are rumours that Apple will launch its foldable device in 2024 but this is expected to be an iPad or hybrid device — not an iPhone.
