Programmatic Marketing Platform Rocket Fuel has appointed a new sales director, group sales manager and sales manager within their Sydney team.
Mailee Creacy, former director of enterprise solutions for Rocket Fuel in New York joins the Sydney office as sales director (NSW and QLD). Creacy is an accomplished digital media executive, having been with the company since 2010. She will lead all pre-sales functions, ensuring Rocket Fuel’s customers get the most value from its products and services.
Former Fairfax and MCN senior account manager Joanna Woods also joins the Rocket Fuel team, taking up the position of group sales manager. Woods, will lead Rocket Fuel’s managed services across key agency holding groups.
Andrew Hill takes up the sales manager role, joining from MCN. With a 10 year career in digital media, Hill brings an outstanding depth of industry knowledge to further strengthen Rocket Fuel’s national offering.
The new hires reflect the ongoing shift towards programmatic advertising in the Australian market, says Australian MD, JJ Eastwood. “Both of these appointments are very positive for Rocket Fuel considering our rapidly growing client base in Australia.
“As a market-leader in programmatic advertising, it’s essential we have the right expertise. Bringing on Mailee, Jo and Andrew is a crucial step for us to offer Australian marketers our products, in addition to media. I believe we now have the go-to-market expertise to further unlock Rocket Fuel’s incredible value.”
Since launching in Australia in June 2014, Rocket Fuel has consistently expanded its team to account for both direct relationships, and the rapidly growing number of self-serve Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) to clients in Australia and New Zealand.
Creacy said she’s looking forward the challenges of working in a new, international market. “Rocket Fuel’s increased focus on Australia will present a wealth of opportunities not just for me, but for the company’s global expansion in 2016.”
