Red Rooster Celebrates 50th Birthday With Retro Merch Drop

Red Rooster is celebrating turning 50 with a limited edition merch collection that highlights the classic logo and catchphrase ‘Red Red Ready’ in a retro style.

50 years after the first Red Rooster shop opened up in Kelmscott, Perth the brand is taking a look back at some of its historic looks and campaigns with the release of the limited release merchandise.

The full collection includes t-shirts and kids’ items, headwear, drinkware and a neon sign, all of which will be available to purchase for at the Reds Shop online from Monday 22nd August.

All profits from the collection will go to charity.

In addition to the merch collection, any members of the Red Royalty program that spend $10 in-store before August 30 will go into the draw to win 50,000 Red Royalty Dollars.

Red Rooster CEO Clint Ault said: “In 2022 the Red Rooster that Aussies know and love is going through an epic transformation – new food, new restaurants, new everything- but the brand will always have a special place in the hearts of Australians, regardless of their age or location. We are proud of our history and the role the brand has played in shaping the food landscape and culture of this country for decades. We don’t take this position and reputation lightly and we are excited and even more proud of where Red Rooster is headed in the future.”
