The AFR BOSS Best Places to Work awards honoured the agency as the best place to work in Australia’s media and marketing world.
According to AFR, the awards are determined by two sets of criteria, a staff survey and a written submission. The assessment process is managed by Inventium, a leading behavioural science consultancy.
“Inventium is proud to announce the 2021 Best Places to Work list in conjunction with the Australian Financial Review. We have undertaken extensive research into what truly makes a brilliant workplace and we are thrilled to recognise many organisations who are leading the way with innovative practices that drive key elements such as flexibility, wellbeing and equality,” said Dr Amantha Imber, Founder, Inventium
Mark Jarrett, PHD’s CEO said that their top placement was “a reflection of everyone in the business and their collective commitment to developing the business, the culture and each other.”
He told the AFR that “there has also been a big drive around internal mobility. In advertising, people do tend to move around companies so we’ve focused on identifying talent in the business and ensuring people are promoted and offered opportunities internally.”
95 per cent of their staff, according to Jarrett, have continued the flexible working policy employed by the company over COVID-19.
PHD Media was number one on the media and marketing list, followed by L&A Social Media, King Kong, Half Dome, OMD Australia, Active International, Hatched Media, M&C Saatchi, AFFINITY and Hotglue in order from second to tenth.
SEEK won overall as the best place to work.
