Netflix Gets Spooky & Takes Over Sydney With Life-Size Squid Game Doll Via Akcelo

Netflix has gone big this Halloween and we mean huge, lifesize, actually! The streaming service has debuted an oversized Squid Game doll in the middle of Circular Quay. Spooky and great PR!

The activation was created by agency Akcelo. If you watched Squid Game and thought it looked fun – then this Halloween treat is for you. Assumedly no one thought it looked fun, but let’s be honest this kind of does, well if you like getting fake murdered by a giant doll, in the ultimate version of red light, green light.

The rules are simple, you check in using a QR code, socially distance, and play as safely as possible – bonus points if you wear white sneakers and a green tracksuit.

Obviously, Squid Game has been a huge success on Netflix and brands have been capitalising on it, so it makes sense that Netflix would and it’s definitely is the kind of spooky that deserves its own Halloween celebration.

According to Pedestrian, the doll is 4.5 metres and ready to play!

Love it or hate it, it’s always fun to see brands engage with their audiences in different ways!
