JCDecaux has promoted Morgan Hannaford (right in main photo) and Gemma Watkins (left) to the roles of sales director.

This follows from the promotion of John Harris to the role of general manager of sales in October. Hannaford will take on responsibility for direct clients and independent agency groups, whilst Watkins will lead the teams working with global agency holding groups.

On their appointments, John Harris, said: “Morgan’s energy and professionalism is a huge asset for JCDecaux. She is driven to achieve results for her customers and has nurtured a group of highly talented salespeople in such an important area for the business.

“Gemma is the ultimate team player, who leads by example. A former Media i salesperson of the year award winner, Gemma has a natural ability to problem-solve for her clients, and consistently drives high levels of customer satisfaction with experience working on key holding groups Mediabrands, Omnicom and Dentsu.”

Over the past 13 years in media, Morgan Hannaford’s drive and passion has been aligned to delivering customer solutions in the direct and independent agency space. Her flair for collaboration and results has driven key partnerships with the IMAA, and some of Australia’s biggest brands.

With over ten years of sales experience across out-of-home, tech and audience intelligence, Gemma Watkins’ talent for driving partnerships and leading large teams has been a key part of the success of JCDecaux’s NSW sales team.

Harris added: “Together, being promoted from their current roles as group business directors, Gemma and Morgan have a market-leading high-performance reputation, with a connected culture mentality at the core of their strengths.

“We are truly excited to see them lead the NSW Sales Team in what will be some of our most exciting years ahead.”

Gemma Watkins takes up her role immediately, whilst Morgan Hannaford will commence in January 2022 upon her return from parental leave.
