Indie Agency Half Dome Appoints Gabriel Grossman As Head Of SEO

Independent media agency Half Dome appoints Gabriel Grossman as Head of SEO as the agency expands its offering to address a gap in the market.

In the newly created role, Grossman will be responsible for developing a best-in-market SEO product for Half Dome’s existing and new enterprise-level clients.

Grossman comes to Half Dome with more than a decade of experience in agency-side SEO positions.

Before Impressive, he was Senior SEO Lead at Overdose Digital, SEO & Content Director at Performics Australia and Senior SEO Consultant at APD.

He has also worked with iProspect, Steak and ROI.com.au and is a Digital Marketing Instructor lecturer at Monash University.

Joe Frazer, Half Dome managing partner and head of growth, said: “After an extensive market analysis locally and abroad, now feels like the perfect time to be launching an enterprise- focused SEO offering.

“Convergence between organic and paid search is only accelerating, and the ongoing fragmenting of agency relationships between these two important channels will only continue to see challenges amplified into the future.

“Strategically-led enterprise SEO solutions are few and far between, and bringing in Gabe to build the product from the ground up felt like the perfect option, allowing us to craft a solution that builds upon Half Dome’s reputation for having a high service proposition, with Gabe’s strong technical experience complementing this.

“Make no mistake, this is no bolt-on to paid media, but rather the birth of what we see becoming ‘the’ leading enterprise-level SEO offering in the Australian market. The conversations we are already having with prospective clients indicate there is a strong appetite for such a solution.”

Commenting on his new role, Grossman said: “I am thrilled to be joining Half Dome. Having met with the co-founders Tom Frazer, Joe Frazer, Will Harms and the team the fit feels natural. It’s clear that this is an agency that puts its people first and is dedicated to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Grossman’s appointment follows that of Paul Wilkinson as Half Dome’s new Head of Commercial in January this year, as well as several client wins including the Petspiration Group, Ego Pharmaceuticals, and the Melbourne Racing Club.

Grossman’s appointment is effective immediately.
