Here Are The 2020 Emmy Nominations For Most Outstanding Commerical

The nominations for the 2020 Emmy Awards are in with news overnight Aussies Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette and Hugh Jackman have all bagged themselves a nod for a gong. Apparently, Brad Pitt also got nominated for a two-minute skit he did for Saturday Night Live back in April.

But let’s not talk privileged actors, rather it’s the Emmy’s most outstanding commercial category that B&T’s most interested in.

Five ads have been selected in the category and it’s safe to say it’s a prestigious but predictable affair. Sadly, no Parasite-like come-from-nowhere Oscar wins here.

Two Super Bowl spots are included in the final five that includes Amazon’s “Before Alexa” spot from Droga5 London and Jeep’s “Groundhog Day” spot from Highdive Advertising.

Also making the cut were Sandy Hook Promise’s “Back-to-School Essentials” by BBDO New York; Apple AirPods “Bounce” by TBWA\Media Arts Lab; and P&G’s “The Look” by Saturday Morning.

The Emmy winners will be announced on the 21st of September.
