Filtered Media Nabs Brand Storytelling Role For Hisense

Hisense Australia today announced the appointment of Filtered Media as its brand storytelling agency, which comes into play immediately. It follows a number of big sponsorships for the Chinese electronics and home appliances manufacturer, including with Red Bull Racing Fomula One, the Australian Open and UEFA Euro 2016.

Filtered Media’s appointment comes after a competitive pitch for a single agency to manage a suite of integrated marketing activities, including public relations, content marketing, digital, social media, SEO, experiential activities and advertising.

Andre Iannuzzi, head of marketing at Hisense Australia, said Filtered Media’s passion for storytelling and ability to unify different marketing disciplines made it the stand out agency.

“Hisense is a fast-growing brand in the Australian consumer electronics market and we were looking for an innovative agency that understands the power of storytelling to bring our brand to life. We’re excited about working with Filtered Media in the local market,” Iannuzzi said.

Filtered Media is an independent brand storytelling agency in Sydney with clients including Adobe, Coca-Cola South Pacific, Diabetes NSW, Kronos, NEC, Telstra, The Australian Information Industry Association, The Financial Planning Association, Vitamix and Xero.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to work with Hisense because they get the power of storytelling and understand how an integrated approach to communications, content, digital and traditional marketing drives growth,” said Mark Jones, chief storyteller and CEO at Filtered Media.

“The focus now is to leverage an exceptional range of new and upcoming products by engaging consumers with the Hisense story in a meaningful way.”
