Fairfax Radio Network’s Content Solutions Division today announced the launch of an Australian media first content initiative called The 60 Second Mentor with foundation partner iiNet.
The mini mentoring program will feature some of the best and brightest up and coming business owners, entrepreneurs, business coaches and advisors who provide their insights and tips for business managers and owners to be more successful.
The program, which launched on 9th March, can be heard on weekdays at 8.00am on 2UE, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR, online and amplified across other Fairfax Media channels.
Fairfax Radio Network Content Solutions Director Andrew ‘Bag’ Sidwell said: “There’s this amazing culture out there amongst Aussie entrepreneurs around sharing their knowledge and illuminating the way for others. We have a lot of business owners listening to our Talk stations. It was a no brainer to put the two together. Give one an outlet, which in turn gives the other something really valuable. It’s also a great platform for our clients to become mentors themselves and step out from behind their brands to let our audience know their human side. I’m looking forward to getting the iiNet guys in the mentor seat.”
iiNet Business Marketing Manager Liz Fotiou said: “As an organisation, iiNet is committed to helping businesses grow and what better way of helping our customers than to provide them with mentors who can give them first hand advice on improving their own businesses and creating growth.”
The first mentor was Nicola Mills, the CEO of Pacific Retail Management and ReadyFundGo.com, who shared her story about being ready for anything, including a one punch coward attack.
Advertisers and agencies can also nominate their own mentors to feature on the program at The60SecondMentor.com.au.
