Iconic Aussie ice-cream brand, Drumstick, is getting with these sustainable and eco-conscious times, by announcing its addition of a plant-based ice cream to its line up this summer.

The new plant-based range stays true to Drumstick’s creamy vanilla base, being carefully crafted and delivering on taste and texture, while also being characteristically topped with decedent chocolate and crunchy peanuts, all encased in a crispy wafer cone, and finished off with a classic choccy tip.

Drumstick senior brand manager, Tara Cook, said “as more people move towards a plant based diet/lifestyle, it is important that we create something that everyone can enjoy without compromising on taste or texture.

“To achieve this, our tastemakers have been hard at work to ensure the new Drumstick Plant Based Classic Vanilla delivers on that iconic Drumstick texture and flavour that they know and love.

“Ice-cream is a summer staple and something all Aussies look forward to on a hot summer’s day so it was important for us to create something that everyone can enjoy and that genuinely tastes great. We’re excited to see how consumers respond to this new addition.”

Drumstick Plant Based is the perfect summer treat for vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, those that are dairy free, those that are making more plant-based choices and those that just want a delicious plant based ice cream.

The Drumstick Plant Based Classic Vanilla is now available in the freezers of all major supermarkets.
