Look, admittedly revered warbler Celine Dion hasn’t had a hit for about three decades, but do we even care? And, like a fine wine, the 51-year-old just seems to garner more cult-like status with age.
Well, the goodly folk at Instagram certainly think so and have wheeled the Canadian out of semi-retirement to star in its 2019 Christmas spot.
The ad, by Mother New York, has Celine belting out her classic 1989 hit It’s All Coming Back To Me Now as she shops for (albeit somewhat gaudy) fashion on her phone.
B&T’s not entirely sure Instagram’s target market would even remember Celine, but at least they could ask their parents.
