The viral organic soap and water companies have united to create Dirt Murderer to “wash your crimes away”.
Dr. Squatch and Liquid Death have mocked soap advertising in a launch campaign for Dirt Murdered, the bonafide “soap for psychos”.
The ad stars a half naked man wearing an ice hockey goaltenders mask, a nod to Jason Voorhees from the Friday The 13th series, lathering up his body with soap to wash away his sins. It is a play on the age old cliche of soap ads for much of their existence.
The new limited series product has been billed as “the first soap made for hard-working psychos” and will keep you “smelling fresher than a mountain stream where you play splashy splashy with a severed head”.
Dirt Murderer is launching in single bars and three-packs. It promises to “annihilate stink with the bold, invigorating scents of eucalyptus, juniper, and cedarwood”.
It is part of a series of products from Liquid Death that include a ‘Season’s Bleeedings’ sweater and ‘jolly death’ gift wrap, and is the latest in a series of collaborations by the canned water company to expand into new categories and provide ongoing entertainment to its customers.
