Creative agency DDB Australia has announced the appointment of Lindsay Bennett as its corporate communications manager.
Bennett joins DDB from AdNews, where she was most recently its digital editor.
In her new role, Bennett will take on will take on responsibility for DDB’s group PR and marketing, as well as bringing an editorial focus to the agency’s internal and external communications.
She will work closely with DDB’s senior leadership team and report to CEO Andrew Little.

“With extensive industry knowledge, we are excited to have someone of her calibre in the group and to leverage her capability in the category.”
Commenting on her new role, Bennett said: “It’s a difficult decision to leave AdNews and I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given.
“After three years, it’s time to take on a new challenge. I’m looking forward to using my journalistic background to communicate DDB’s values, vision and purpose to stakeholders.”
AdNews editor Pippa Chambers said: “Lindsay has been a great asset to AdNews and played a key role in helping grow our offering. Her enthusiasm and passion for the sector will be greatly missed. We wish her the best of luck in her new role.”
Bennett’s appointment follows the recent hires of managing director Priya Patel and chief strategy officer Carl Ratcliff. She will commence her new role on 29 January.
