“Breathtaking!” Soft Drink Maker Sprite Wins Applause For Stunning LGBTQI+ Campaign

To celebrate Buenos Aires Pride week, lemonade manufacturer Sprite has released a new campaign that’s found universal approval from the LGBTQI+ community for its heartwarming themes.

Set to the tune of You’ll Never Walk Alone, the ad depicts different people and their friends readying for Pride week.

The ad ends with the slogans, “Orgullo: Lo que sentís cuando alguien que querés elige ser feliz,” and “No estás solx,” which translate to: “Pride: What you feel when someone you love chooses to be happy” and “You’re not alone.”

Check out the moving spot below:

Buenos Aires Pride week began in 1992 with a mere 300 participants. This year’s event is expected to attract over 300,000 participants.

And social media users are loving Sprite’s efforts.

“Great to see the spirit of Pride in Argentina,” one person wrote to Twitter.

“Wow, breathtaking #pride spot from Sprite,” penned another.

While another added: “A bitch just started watching a Sprite ad and now she’s crying. A bitch is me.”
