Brad McNamara Scores Full-Time EP Role At Triple M

Following a successful stint as Triple M’s executive producer for its Test cricket coverage this summer, the radio network has appointed Brad McNamara to its newly-created EP role for cricket and NRL broadcasting in Sydney.

Prior to McNamara’s role as EP of Triple M’s first foray into Test cricket this summer, he worked as the EP of Channel Nine’s cricket coverage, and is also an ex-NSW Blues cricket player.

Triple M’s head of content, Mike Fitzpatrick, said it was a “no-brainer” to get McNamara on board full-time after his efforts as EP of the radio brand’s Test cricket coverage.

In a two-year deal with Cricket Australia, Triple M will broadcast the 2017-18 Ashes Series, while the radio brand’s NRL coverage this year will feature the new 6pm Friday night game live, along with Thursday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday (match of the round) fixtures.

Earlier this month, Triple M announced Brydens Lawyers as the major naming rights partner of its NRL coverage for the 2017 season.
