GoPro has welcome Aussie Formula 1 ace Daniel Ricciardo to the family.

The breakout star of the most watched motorsport in the world is synonymous with everything it means to be a young guy living life in the fast lane, and GoPro is excited to provide a new perspective to his already vibrant life.

Together, GoPro and Ricciardo will bring fans closer, immersing them into the life of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing wheelman.

Riccardo said: “Really stoked to be joining the global GoPro family. I’ve always enjoyed using their products and have admired them as a brand for a long time, especially the awesome content they produce with their athlete partners. Now I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries and having some fun with the GoPro team.”

The  fell in love with racing as a child, which propelled him from racing karts in his hometown of Perth to driving for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, one of the most prestigious teams in Formula 1. And while his tenacious drive to win on track keeps him focused, Ricciardo immerses himself in travel, adventure and all that life has to offer far beyond the racetrack. From dominating Grand Prix races to driving buggies on farms in Australia, mountain biking in New Zealand, surfing California beaches to charging hot rods down Rodeo Drive, we can’t wait to follow Ricciardo and cheer him on as he vies for the F1 Championship in 2018.

The season kicks off with the Melbourne Grand Prix on the 25th of March. Stay tuned to Ricciardo’s social channels and the official GoPro accounts for a new perspective behind the life of an F1 star.
