Aegis hires new MD for activations as Fish departs

Kylie Green has been hired by Aegis to the role of managing director for activations agencies for ANZ, replacing David Fish who left the company last month.

Green (pictured) takes over the post to lead ApolloNation and Synergy with over 25 years of experience in the advertising, marketing and activations space.

Luke Littlefield, CEO of Aegis Media ANZ, said: “Kylie is highly experienced and networked in activations, experiential and shopper marketing, making her the ideal candidate to lead ApolloNation and Synergy.

“Her reputation precedes her and with the support of our already strong management team, Kylie is poised to lead our activations businesses to further growth and success.”

Green added: “I’m delighted to join Aegis Media’s activations division, having been very impressed by the work these agencies have delivered over recent years. The longevity of many of the division’s clients is testament to the exceptional job the teams are doing and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing and further success of ApolloNation and Synergy in Australia and New Zealand.”

Green founded Kaleidoscope Marketing Communications in 1997, building it into one of Australia’s largest activation agencies with clients such as Emirates, The Good Guys, GSK, Colgate-Palmolive and Diageo.

Most recently, she was founding director of The Oven Communication brand activation agency, managing clients such as Twentieth Century Fox, Samsung Electronics and Layne Beachley’s Aim for the Stars Foundation.

She has been the recipient of numerous industry awards including finalist in the Telstra Women’s Business Awards and numerous APMA Star Awards including The APMA Lifetime Achievement Award 2013.
