This year’s The Bachelorette Australia is certainly highly anticipated.
Brooke Blurton is the series’ first Indigenous Australian Bachelorette, and the first openly bisexual Bachelorette, too. This means the series will be featuring contestants of multiple genders.
Having grown up in Yamatji country in Western Australia, Blurton is a passionate mental health advocate and Indigenous youth social worker.
In the trailer, Blurton says, “for me, true love is about making a soul connection, no matter who they are.”
According to Network 10, “while some things may be different this year, one thing remains the same. Brooke is here for one thing only, to find the love of her life.”
