WPP AUNZ Launches NextGen Leaders Program

WPP AUNZ Launches NextGen Leaders Program

WPP AUNZ has announced the launch of a new program designed to attract new and diverse talent across the region.

The NextGen Leaders program is the first of its kind and is a 10-week course open to tertiary students, recent graduates and those with 0-2 years of experience in any field.

“I am really proud to be launching the NextGen Leaders program in Australia,” said WPP AUNZ CEO, Jens Monsees. “A strong and highly skilled labor force is key to maintaining our global competitiveness.”

“As Australasia’s leading creative transformation company and home to many of the industry’s most admired agencies – we want to welcome new talent into the industry and continue to strengthen and diversify our early talent pipelines.”

“The NextGen Leaders program is part of our ongoing investment in future and emerging industry talent locally. Working collaboratively to deliver unique learning, growth and professional development opportunities to those looking to kick-start their career.”

“While also connecting them with leaders across agency brands and functions at WPP locally and across the world – who will share their experiences about what makes our company so special.”

“Participants will have a unique opportunity to learn about us and what creative transformation means for our clients, with an exclusive look into the roles of our people and the extraordinary work we create.”

“As well as hear from our partners and others from our broader network, including Google’s #IAmRemarkable and Allies in Recruiting, who will deliver on-demand presentations.”

“So we are putting the call out for anyone with an ambitious curiosity to apply for The NextGen Leaders program. It really is a unique opportunity to experience WPP’s culture as a whole, build a community and look “under the hood” of the world’s leading creative transformation company,” said Monsees.

WPP AUNZ will work with local tertiary education partners, industry groups and diversity networks to attract people with varied educational and work experience for the program.  Unlike many graduate recruitment programs, this opportunity is not limited to those with a tertiary degree from a related field.

NextGen Leaders program participants will earn a certificate of completion for the training via Coursera, in addition to creating a new professional network of peers and WPP AUNZ experts. They will also have the chance to secure a role within WPP AUNZ, if available, and all participants will be invited to join the alumni network.

The on-demand program will run from June 7 to August 13, 2021 with a live workshop series (facilitated online) commencing in September. Applications for the program close on April 30, 2021.

WPP AUNZ is Australasia’s leading creative transformation company.
