Wink Models Appoints New MD As Taryn Williams Becomes CEO

Australian talent agency WINK Models has announced the promotion of Sage Greenwood (pictured above) to managing director, commencing 1 July. Greenwood currently heads up the Melbourne office and is also the director of national activations.

Greenwood will take over the role from founder Taryn Williams, who has been managing director of the company since 2007. Williams will move to the role of CEO.

Greenwood has been part of the WINK Models team for the past five years, managing the national sports division prior to her current role as national director of activations. For the past three years she has also been responsible for running the WINK Melbourne office.

Since opening in 2007, WINK Models has grown to one of Australia’s leading and most diverse talent agencies, representing over 650 talent nationwide from the ages of 13 to 79. New CEO Williams said: “We have built a strong, reputable agency with a great team and stable of clients. Sage has played a key role with WINK for a number of years and will be an amazing leader.

“She continues to impress me with her passion and commitment to learning and growing the business. She cares about our clients, our models, the work and our people and I am delighted to have made this appointment from within.”

Of her appointment, Greenwood said: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role of managing director. WINK is one of Australia’s leading talent agencies and I have really enjoyed working alongside Taryn for the past five years. I’m looking forward to the challenge and being able to pursue new opportunities and help continue the company’s strong performance.”
