The VOZ numbers for week 38 are in and, as expected, The Voice‘s grand final and winner’s announcement were triumphant.
The winner’s announcement was technically number one with a total combined linear and BVOD audience of 2, 419,000 viewers: 2,223,000 on linear and 196,000 on BVOD. That means 92 per cent of the viewership was via linear TV, compared to 8 per cent on BVOD.
In second was the rest of the grand final, with a combined audience of 2,181,000: on linear, that meant 1,099,000 national viewers and 83,000 BVOD viewers. Like the winner’s announcement, the bulk of the viewership was via linear TV, at 96 per cent, while BVOD made up 4 per cent.
Third was a Sunday ep of Nine News which had a combined viewership of 1,850,000: 1,795,000 on linear and 55,000 on BVOD, with a 97 per cent linear and 3 per cent BVOD contribution split.
