Wednesday TV Wrap: Gruen Delivers Strong Numbers But Seven Takes The Night

The ABC’s Gruen brought in 501,000 eyeballs and as always was a complete delight. 

Seven News hit 895,000 viewers while Nine News earned 787,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair scored 577,000 viewers – Grimshaw, as always earns her keep. 

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase grabbed 494,000. Meanwhile, Home And Away nabbed 443,000, and Big Brother brought in 319,000 viewers – Seven’s incredible at creating strong flagship shows. 

For Nine, Hot Seat grabbed 405,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Travel Guides brings in 438,000 viewers. Tipping Point grabbed 288,000 viewers.  

For 10, The Project pulled in 387,000 viewers. Masterchef brought in 556,000 viewers – you’d think after watching after so many seasons I’d know how to cook but I don’t. 

Finally, ABC had a strong night with ABC News, netting 548,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 484,000 viewers. 

The Weekly With Charlie pulled in 436,000 viewers – Charlie, as always, delivers effortlessly. 

Out on top was the Seven Network with 26.7 per cent. Nine Network was behind with 26.2 per cent of the daily share. 10 Network grabbed 20.8 per cent, followed by the ABC Network with 17.9 per cent. While the SBS had 8.5 per cent.
