The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has revealed the finalists for its 2024 AiMCO Awards, with categories ranging from Best Food & Beverage Creator, Best Up & Coming Creator and Best Boutique Agency.
A total of 127 finalists have been selected from the hundreds of entries submitted for this year’s awards, which recognise the best and brightest in the nation’s influencer marketing sector.
“The 2024 AiMCO Awards have already proven to be our biggest yet with a record number of entries submitted across all categories. The high calibre of entries really highlights the momentum we are seeing in the influencer industry and the crucial role content creators play in many brands’ marketing strategies. I am looking forward to celebrating them all on awards night. Congratulations to all of our finalists,” said AiMCO board chair and Social Law co-founder, Tegan Boorman.
“The AiMCO Awards attracted a record number of entries this year with a strong and diverse representation of creators, brands and agencies, which is a clear demonstration of the growing influencer sector for both creators and brands. I’d like to thank our judges and sponsors for helping to make our awards bigger and better this year,” said AiMCO managing director, Patrick Whitnall.
The AiMCO Most Influential Creator Award and the AiMCO Most Influential Industry Award, the top awards of the night, will be chosen from the winners across the industry and creator categories. These awards are presented for outstanding work in influencer marketing, regardless of social media platform or scale of the campaign.
The Awards will focus on the theme of ‘The Creator Influence’ this year, acknowledging the power of creator campaigns and their place in the broader marketing industry.
Three new categories have been added to this year’s awards: Best Creator Podcast, Best Gifting Campaign and Best Talent Agency.
This year, AiMCO recruited a panel of around 100 industry experts to judge the award submissions, bringing decades of industry expertise to the judging panel. Among them are PepsiCo head of media and Digital ANZ, Gill McHattie, Paramount+ vice president of marketing and growth, Louise Crompton, Tourism Australia head of global PR and advocacy, Nicole Foster, MCoBeauty head of influencer marketing, Beci Mamo, Luxury Escapes head of social engagement, Eugene Loane, ELY marketing founder and chief marketer, Elysha Stephens, and Lion Cultural Collaborations leader, Andie Tickner.
The Awards, now in their fourth year, will host a special event next February, where the winners will be announced.
The 2024 AiMCO Awards’ premier partners are GroupM and Hello Social, Major Sponsors social media agency Fabulate, and management service Talentpay, along with gifting sponsors Colgate, Madebox Co. and Sticki.
