Sydney-based health and wellness communications agency and Asia Pacific hub lead for GLOBALHealth PR, VIVA! Communications, announced that Julia Slater (pictured) has been appointed General Manager.
Slater will support the agency’s Principal and Managing Director with the daily operations of the agency, as well as managing the health and wellness team and working with VIVA!’s portfolio of local, regional, and multi-national clients.
Kirsten Bruce, VIVA!’s Principal and Owner, said, “I’m delighted to be working alongside Julia in her new role as General Manager of VIVA!, and I look forward to her efforts in continuing to attract and drive new business for our agency.”
Slater first joined the agency in 2018. She said, “in my new role as GM, my focus will be on the agency’s growth strategy, client management, and team leadership.”
“I’m excited to expand our business portfolio in Australia and Asia Pacific, support our team, and nurture the VIVA! culture.”
The agency’s expansion also includes the appointment of Sophie Newton to Account Executive, after joining the agency as an intern in 2019.
VIVA! has a number of high-profile accounts, including BMS, GenesisCare, Asia Pacific Consortium on Osteoporosis, and Alzheimer’s Queensland.
