European AdTech platform Adhese is launching in the APAC region through a partnership with Uncommon Media, offering privacy-compliant end-to-end services tailored for the retail sector.
Adhese, which aims to simplify the complexities of retail media and open up new revenue streams, is trusted by a string of large retailers across Europe and is backed by retail giant Ahold Delhaize.
Uncommon Media is the latest offering from the Uncommon Group, alongside Uncommon People, and is led by Kees de Jong, a seasoned industry expert and member of the IAB Australia Retail Media Council. It offers a suite of services, from data compliance and tech implementation to ad operations and sales representation also known as Retail Media as a service (RMAAS), providing retailers with an out-of-the-box solution to tackle retail media without the need for extensive internal resources.
“The retail media landscape is growing and changing fast and we’re here to give retailers the tools to make it work for them,” said de Jong. “Our partnership with Adhese means we can offer a world-class, flexible solution which has been purpose-built for retail by retailers, for retailers right here in APAC.”
“We chose to partner with Uncommon Media because of their depth of expertise across the APAC advertising landscape. Their knowledge and large network in the region combined with Adhese’s robust and proven platform make us confident we will deliver value to many new customers,” said Tim Sturtewagen, co-founder at Adhese.
Recent findings from the Retail Media State of the Nation 2024 report highlight fragmentation and a lack of standardisation as major challenges for retail media. Uncommon Media aims to tackle these issues directly with Adhese, offering a streamlined adtech platform that simplifies the complexities of retail media across all channels.
With the launch of Uncommon Media, retailers in APAC now have a new option to leverage retail media as a revenue stream.
