After nearly a three year hiatus the 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards returned last night to the Gold Coast in spectacular fashion and Hamish Blake was awarded the most coveted prize in Australian TV – the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award. Check out all the winners at the end of this article.
It was a triumphant return for television’s night of nights, from the star-studded, unrivalled glamour of the red carpet to the big moment when Hamish Blake was crowned winner of the TV WEEK Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
TV WEEK Gold Logie Award winner Hamish Blake said: “All the nominees are amazing. I’m in awe of them all.”
“Lego Masters is just an escape from everything. And I really bring it down to the contestants and their love and passion for building LEGO.”

The night was filled with celebrations as stars accepted their Most Popular and Most Outstanding awards. The room erupted with joy when ABC News Breakfast’s Tony Armstrong won the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent.
Australian Sports broadcaster Bruce McAvaney has been inducted in to the TV WEEK Logie Awards Hall of Fame for his nearly five decades of sporting expertise.
Jimmy Barnes and David Campbell’s duet of “Do You Love Me” had the room on their feet, while fellow Aussies Jessica Mauboy and Tim Minchin also put on stunning performances. International guest Calum Scott delivered a beautiful version of, “Where Are They Now/Rise”.
The 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards took place within The Star Gold Coast Entertainment Precinct at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. All the action from the red-carpet arrivals and awards-show celebrations were telecast on the Nine Network and 9Now.
