There’s definitely a problem in the jungle! Last night Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! managed just 529,000 viewers, its lowest audience number of the year.
Last night’s episode saw the arrival of Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattinson. And – despite the fascinating revelation that Prince Harry was actually legitimate – the interlopers clearly did zip to boost ratings, a fact that must be giving Ten execs night sweats.
Celeb’s poor showing also impacted Ten’s other evening highlight Hughesy We Have a Problem that managed only 450,000. While The Project pulled 482,000.
Once again, Nine’s Married At First Sight (1.06 million) was the evening’s most watched show, however, MKR wasn’t far behind (1.03 million).
On the back of the Winter Olympics, Seven stormed home with 38.7 per cent of the audience share. Nine managed 25.9 per cent, Ten had 16.9 per cent, ABC pulled 13 per cent and SBS had 5.6 per cent.
Seven’s 6pm news beat out Nine’s, 1.01 million to 908,000, respectively. Nine’s Date Night had a respectable debut considering its 9pm start time, pulling 529,000.
Over at the ABC its night went thus: 7pm news (650,000), 7.30 (538,000), The Checkout (494,000), Catalyst (364,000) and No More Boys And Girls (188,000).
SBS’s best was Insight (217,000) and Dateline (201,000). Who Do You Think You Are? pulled 156,000.
