Seven’s Hell’s Kitchen has suffered its latest ignominy, last night beaten by re-runs of Kath & Kim.

The struggling cooking show could only muster 527,000 viewers according to overnight OzTAM viewer numbers. Nine’s repeat of Kath & Kim pulled 553,000.

Nine’s The Block was again last night’s standout, pulling 1.067 million viewers and helped Nine win the night with 32 per cent audience share. Seven was second with 25.3 per cent, Ten third with 18.7 per cent, the ABC had 17 per cent and SBS managed seven per cent.

However, the ABC knocked the wind out of its more fancied rivals with The House With Annabel Crabb (620,000) and its 7pm news (747,000) and 7.30 (605,000) all beating Seven’s and Ten’s offerings.

The Block was the most watched show of the night, while Nine’s True Story With Hamish and Andy did well with 904,000.

Seven’s 6pm news bulletin was its standout with 1.05 million, followed by The Chase (639,000), then Hell’s Kitchen (527,000) and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (374,000).

Sadly, Shark Tank isn’t doing the business for Ten this season and it managed only 464,000. The Project was Ten’s best with 531,000.

Over at the SBS, Great American Railway Journeys was its best performer with 349,000.
