A strong showing by Nine’s Travel Guides and typically robust numbers from MAFS have handed Nine an impressive Tuesday night.
MAFS had 1.3 million according to overnight OzTAM metro numbers, while Travel Guides managed 768,000 and again trumped MKR’s 746,000.
Nine won the night with 35.6 per cent of the audience share. Seven had 28.2 per cent, the ABC had 16 per cent, 10 took home 13.6 per cent and SBS had 6.6 per cent.
Seven’s news did 919,000 to Nine’s 880,000, while ACA posted 775,000.
For breakfast, Sunrise (265,000) was slightly down and Today (202,000) was slightly up.
Other notables for Seven were Manhunt (593,000), Home And Away (556,000) and The Chase (476,000).
Over at 10, it’s best was The Project with 449,000, followed by an improving Ambulance Australia with 405,000, 10 News First (339,000) and NCIS (278,000).
The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (683,000), 7.30 (564,000), The Cult Of The Family (554,000) and Foreign Correspondent (457,000).
SBS’s best was a repeat of Great Continental Railway Journeys that chugged to 201,000.
