Hugh Jackman might just be the most popular man in Australia.

A survey has found that Jackman rates highly with both men and women. Nicole Kidman is also beloved by both sexes, and Chris Hemsworth has nothing to complain about.

The list reveals what celebrities we really love, although I think Claudia Karvan was robbed. It’s a pretty extensive list with no big surprises. Ash Barty and Toni Colette being beloved isn’t exactly breaking news but it is good news.

The top-rated men and women were determined using the Australian Talent Index within the 2022 Top Talent Report.

The Top Talent Report was commissioned by media and marketing agency Talent Corp in conjunction with Lewers Research and details the latest findings of the Australian Talent Index. The Index, a first of its kind in Australia, is a talent measurement system that captures consumers’ awareness of, and attitudes towards, a range of Australian talent, including celebrities, actors, broadcasters, sports stars, and politicians.

The nationally representative survey included more than 5,000 Australians who rated 300+ personalities and provided comments on how they felt about a personality.

Talent Corp, managing director, Mark Noakes said: “Gender selection for talent is super important and in 2022 has never been more tricky.

“It’s critical to understand how your target audience – either male, female, or non-identifying – will respond to a personality before they are selected. The Talent Index can expertly inform marketers in this decision making.”
