Australian location-based DOOH and online health media company, Tonic Media Network has announced the appointment of two new senior commercial hires as the company continues to grow its commercial and content offerings.
Belinda Mascitti (featured image) has been appointed as state sales director (VIC, SA, WA) at Tonic Media Network, based in Melbourne.
Mascitti will lead the company’s commercial sales efforts in these markets and brings with her a wealth of experience from Fairfax, WIN, oOh!, VMO, News Corp, and ARN. Her expertise also extends into the agency world, where she worked at both Vizeum and Medicom.
Meanwhile, Jenni Workman has been appointed as state sales director (NSW), based in Sydney, where she will be key to the company’s objectives to expand its footprint across the state, with both agencies and direct clients.
With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Workman has worked at Fairfax and Are Media (previously Bauer/ACP) and at media agencies, Starcom and Loud Communications.
Tonic Media Network, and its Indigenous network, Aboriginal Health Television, has evolved substantially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, shifting rapidly to adjust to these new priorities and changing climate.
In the last year, Tonic has launched offerings to engage, inform and educate consumers in point of care environments, such as integrated content solutions, an educational webinar series for GP’s, QR code capabilities and Programmatic DOOH Trading.
“The growth in our business, and the increasing complexity of the campaigns we’re involved in, means we need to further strengthen our commercial team,” said Tonic Media Network commercial director, Sev Celik.
“It needed sophisticated people who could tackle our increasing needs and further develop Tonic’s mission to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians.
“Finding two talented individuals with strong relationships in their respective markets was an incredible coup for us, as they have the skills to work across multiple channels, have an understanding of the marketing and communications ecosystem and come from agency-side backgrounds.”
Mascitti added, “Health is a vital part of my life, and to be able bring this to my job, completes the circle.”
Workman also added, “I look forward to sharing the Tonic Media Network health and wellness message, which are so important to me personally, with media agencies and clients in the Sydney and wider NSW market.”
