Thursday TV Wrap: Seven & Nine Locked In Stalemate, As Gogglebox Wins Entertainment

Thursday’s not a solid night for entertainment. There are pub raffles and Thursday late-night shopping to contend with! However, Gogglebox did the best, pulling in 458,000 eyeballs.

The big news was that Nine and Seven hit a deadlock.

According to OzTAM metro numbers, Nine and Seven tied with both networks bringing 28.5 per cent. 10 had 18.0 per cent, ABC did 17.2 per cent, and SBS did 7.8 per cent.

In the news and current affairs, Seven’s 6 pm bulletin did 822,000, and rival Nine’s had 773,000. ACA pulled 548,000 – I am desperate to be invited to Grimshaw’s farewell party. So, far it seems my name is just on the ‘don’t let in.’ list.

Paramedics brought in 407,000 viewers. RBT brought in 405,000 viewers.

ABC’s News did 584,000. 7.30 posted just 444,000.

ABC’s Foreign Correspondent did solid numbers with 325,000 viewers.

Early evening viewers enjoyed Seven’s Home And Away (403,000), Seven’s The Chase (436,000) and Nine’s Hot Seat (328,000).

10’s best was The Project with 285,000 – I’m now certain Chrissie Swan is going to take over!  10 News First with 261,000 viewers.
