Thursday TV Wrap: Nine’s RBT Scores Its Highest Rating Of The Year

While coppers may be giving the RBT’s a rest for the time-being amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Nine’s RBT managed to score itself its highest rating episode of the year in the nick of time with 599,000 viewers tuning in, according to OzTAM metro.

However, it wasn’t enough to topple 7’s The Chase (706,000), which was the pick of the night in entertainment after news took out the top seven spots. 

10’s Gogglebox did well too with 787,000 metro viewers, while ABC’s Revelation did 415,000.

Across all channels, Nine won the night with 27.9 per cent, Seven did 23.4 per cent, 10 did 21.3 per cent, ABC did 18.5 per cent and SBS did 8.9 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Seven

News did 1.3m, The Latest: Seven News did 737,000 and Pooch Perfect did 299,000.

Nine

News did 1.14m, ACA did 851,000 and Hot Seat did 610,000.

10

The Project did 584,000, 10 News First did 553,000 and an Ambulance Australia repeat did 493,000.

ABC

News did 912,000, 7.30 did 703,000 and The Heights did 291,000.

Primary channel share

Nine earned 17.3 per cent, Seven did 16.0 per cent, 10 did 14.9 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 12.5 per cent and 6.1 per cent respectively.

Demographic breakdown (all channels)

People 25-54

i. Nine – 27.8 per cent
ii. 10 – 27.5 per cent
iii. Seven – 23.5 per cent

People 16-39

i. 10 – 30.4 per cent
ii. Nine – 28.0 per cent
iii. Seven – 22.4 per cent
