The Bachelorette Australia cruised to an easy ratings victory last night for Channel Ten, thanks to the absence of Nine’s The Block.
According to the overnight figures from OzTAM, The Bachelorette saw a slight rise in viewers last night from its debut on Wednesday night to 978,000 viewers – streaks ahead of its nearest slot rivals RBT (Nine) and 7:30 (ABC), which finished with 562,000 and 480,000 viewers respectively.
However, despite running different shows in different markets during the primetime slot, Seven won Thursday for overall market share with 28.5 per cent, followed by Nine (26.7 per cent, Ten (22.5 per cent), ABC (14.6 per cent) and SBS (7.7 per cent).
